01 Overview & Scope

Dryshades Private Limited (“Dryshades”, “we”, “us”) operates this website and the industrial technology businesses Netrecx and Mecwerx. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices available to you.

It applies to dryshades.com and to enquiries you send us by web form, email or WhatsApp. Our business websites netrecx.com and mecwerx.com may publish their own notices.

We are a business-to-business company. We do not sell personal information, and we do not run advertising networks on this website.

02 Information We Collect

Information you provide

  • Enquiry details — name, work email, company, phone number and the content of your message when you use a contact form, email us or message us on WhatsApp.
  • Requirement data — specifications, drawings, bills of material, part numbers or project details you choose to share so we can respond to a requirement.
  • Recruitment data — your CV and the details you send when applying to a role.

Information collected automatically

  • Technical data — IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring page and pages viewed.
  • Usage data — approximate location (city level), time of visit and interaction with pages.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal data through this website. Please do not send financial account details, identity documents or confidential third-party information through the enquiry form.

03 Cookies & Similar Technologies

Cookies are small files placed on your device. This website is intentionally lightweight and uses cookies sparingly.

  • Strictly necessary — required for the site to load, render and remain secure. These cannot be switched off.
  • Preference — remember basic choices such as dismissed notices, where applicable.
  • Analytics — help us understand which pages are useful, in aggregate. See the section below.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect how the site works. Where required by law, we will ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies.

04 Forms & Enquiries

The enquiry form on this website opens your own email client and sends the message to us — the content is transmitted through your email provider. When you contact us by WhatsApp, the message is delivered through WhatsApp’s platform and is subject to their terms and privacy practices.

We use the information in an enquiry to:

  • Understand and respond to your requirement.
  • Prepare a quotation, proposal or scope of work.
  • Route the enquiry to the relevant business (Netrecx or Mecwerx).
  • Maintain a record of the commercial conversation.

05 Analytics

We may use privacy-respecting analytics to measure aggregate traffic — for example, how many people visited a page and which sections are most read. Analytics data is used in aggregate and is not used to build advertising profiles.

Where a third-party analytics provider is used, that provider processes data on our behalf under contract. You can opt out of most analytics by using your browser’s “Do Not Track” setting, blocking cookies, or using a tracker-blocking extension.

06 Communication

If you contact us, we will reply to the enquiry. We may also send you operational messages relating to an active requirement, quotation or project.

We do not send unsolicited bulk marketing from this website. If we introduce a newsletter or updates list in future, it will be opt-in and every message will contain an unsubscribe option. You can ask us to stop non-essential communication at any time by emailing info@dryshades.com.

07 Why We Process Your Information

We process personal information where we have a lawful basis to do so, including:

  • To take steps at your request before entering into a contract — for example, responding to an RFQ.
  • To perform a contract — delivering a procurement or engineering engagement.
  • Legitimate business interests — running, securing and improving our website and business, provided your rights do not override those interests.
  • Consent — where you have given it, such as for non-essential cookies or optional updates.
  • Legal obligation — tax, accounting, statutory and regulatory requirements.

08 Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell or rent personal information. We may share it only as follows:

  • Within Dryshades — with our Netrecx and Mecwerx teams, so the right team responds to you.
  • Service providers — hosting, email, communication and analytics providers who process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations.
  • Professional advisers — legal, accounting and audit advisers where necessary.
  • Legal and safety — where required by law, court order or a lawful government request, or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
  • Business transfer — in connection with a merger, restructuring, acquisition or financing, subject to appropriate protections.

Some providers may process data outside India. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure an appropriate level of protection.

09 Data Protection & Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to the nature of the data we handle, including:

  • Encryption of the website in transit via HTTPS.
  • Access limited to personnel who need the information to do their job.
  • Confidentiality obligations for employees and service providers.
  • Care in handling commercially sensitive material such as drawings, specifications and bills of material.
No system is perfectly secure. While we work to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security of data transmitted over the internet. Please avoid sending highly confidential material through unsecured channels.

10 Data Retention

We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected, including to:

  • Respond to and follow up on an enquiry.
  • Deliver and support an engagement.
  • Meet statutory record-keeping, tax and audit obligations.
  • Establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

When information is no longer needed, we delete it or anonymise it.

11 Your Rights

Subject to applicable law — including India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 — you may have the right to:

  • Request access to the personal information we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Request erasure of information we no longer need.
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
  • Nominate another individual to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity.
  • Raise a grievance about how we handle your information.

To exercise any of these, email info@dryshades.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting. We aim to respond within a reasonable period and within any timeframe required by law.

12 Children

This website is intended for business users. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

13 Third-Party Links

This website links to other sites, including netrecx.com, mecwerx.com and WhatsApp. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of sites we do not operate. Please review their notices separately.

14 Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices, technology or legal requirements. The revised version will be posted on this page with a new “last updated” date. Material changes will be made clear. Please review this page periodically.
